I am very proud to have brought forth the GA Blocker Grading merger to the table. We are in the business of relationships and the long standing relationship I have had with Matt Blocker gave me the insight to their first class organization and how well they would merge with Curran.

BIO

Mike started his career at Curran Contracting as an intern while attending Northern Illinois University and he began his professional career at Curran upon graduating from NIU in 1991. His experience and passion for the asphalt industry have led him to his current role as Vice President of the Paving Division. Mike oversees the division’s daily operations, including Curran’s three asphalt plants. He has built his team over the years and truly enjoys their daily comradery.

Mike has dedicated much of his career to serving on both professional and community boards. His reputation precedes him in the asphalt industry, known as someone who always shows goodwill, strong leadership, and integrity throughout his career. Currently, Mike is serving as the Vice President of the Illinois Aphalt Pavement Association and will be the incoming president of IAPA in March of 2024. Outside of work, you will find him enjoying time with his family and friends, listening to live music, and beekeeping.
